A bit about me.

Hi, Kev here!

Son of immigrant parents who chose North Van as their home, I was very lucky to have been born and raised here on the shore. Now nestled in beautiful Lynn Valley, I have a family of my own and I am a father of three and a husband to a very supportive wife.

My professional background is in post-secondary marketing and student affairs - so I’m very intrigued by how personal experiences and career journeys intersect. That said, I am super excited you’re even considering making me a part of yours.

Photography for me started when I first borrowed my mom’s DSLR. Capturing and editing photos sparked a genuine desire to simply create and learn more about the art form. Since becoming more intentional with photography, I’ve had the opportunity to meet some really awesome people, support local businesses, and of course… snap a lot more photos (with my own camera).

From cars to creative.

I began my post-secondary journey in automotive service. Upon completion of my trades training, I pursued an undergrad in business administration because of an interest in advertising and the consumer experience. My path eventually brought me back to higher ed but as staff which launched my career in marketing and student affairs. Curious to learn about the mechanics of the student life-cycle, I later pursued a masters in educational leadership.

It was during my last year of grad school when I made a commitment to take deliberate steps toward presenting my creative self and continuously seeking opportunity to do so.
